Volumes 24, 25, and 26 of the Quran and Hadith Encyclopedia Published
Volumes 24, 25, and 26 of the Quran and Hadith Encyclopedia, authored by the late Ayatollah Rayshahri in collaboration with a team of researchers from the Quran and Hadith Research Institute, have been published.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Quran and Hadith Research Institute, the 24th through 26th volumes of the bilingual (Persian-Arabic) Quran and Hadith Encyclopedia—authored by the late Ayatollah Rayshahri and prepared in collaboration with researchers from the Research Center for Hadith Sciences and Teachings—are now in print.
Covering a broad thematic scope, this encyclopedia addresses religious, theological, ethical, political, economic, and cultural concepts, aiming to respond to contemporary intellectual and spiritual needs.
Organized through an alphabetical-thematic framework, the Quran and Hadith Encyclopedia presents relevant traditions alongside Quranic verses and narrations of the Infallibles (peace be upon them) to elucidate religious topics, concepts, and entries.
Key features of this work include comprehensiveness, conciseness, rigorous citation, and a systematic method of pairing Hadith with the Quran. Furthermore, each entry opens with a multi-faceted analytical introduction to the topic.
Previously, 23 volumes of the encyclopedia had been released over past years. The entire collection is projected to exceed 70 volumes upon completion.
The newly released volumes (24 to 26) are devoted to entries under the Arabic/Persian letter "Ḥā" (ح), covering the following subjects:
Volume 24: Love (Maḥabbah), Veiling/Modesty (Ḥijāb)
Volume 25: Pilgrimage (Ḥajj) — Part 1: Mecca al-Mukarramah; Part 2: Hajj and Umrah
Volume 26: Cupping (Ḥijāmah), Prophetic Tradition (Ḥadīth)
It is worth noting that Volumes 24, 25, and 26 are published in Royal octavo (Vaziri) format, containing 544, 558, and 650 pages respectively. They were released in 1404 SH (2025/2026) in cooperation with Dar al-Hadith Publications.
