Without a doubt, the dynamism and growth of specialized journals depend on the participation of scholars and experts in various fields. Imami Theology Journal—formerly titled The Theology of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)—hopes that through the active engagement of seminary and university professors, researchers, and authors, it will become an effective platform for the exchange and interaction of Imami theological ideas, as well as for theorization in the field of theology.

General Objectives of the Journal:

1. Extracting the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from religious texts and revelatory sources;

2. Systematic and scholarly explanation and development of the theological doctrines of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them);

3. Publishing research related to the theology of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), with an emphasis on hadith;

4. Identifying and addressing doctrinal and intellectual problems, with emphasis on the method and tradition of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them);

5. Explaining the methodology of understanding the doctrinal teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and critiquing unconventional methodologies;

6. Critiquing and responding to non-Imami schools and viewpoints.
