The book Encyclopedia of Forgiveness and Pardoning has been published

According to the Public Relations of the Quran and Hadith Research Institute, forgiveness and pardon are words as gentle as rain—whether it is when the Merciful God pardons His servants’ sins or when people forgive each other in interpersonal relations.

The book Encyclopedia of Forgiveness and Pardoning elaborates on this delicate concept in both of these contexts.

This book includes over 660 verses and narrations concerning divine forgiveness and pardon toward humans, as well as human forgiveness toward one another. It examines the factors that give rise to and hinder “God’s forgiveness” and continues by encouraging “forgiveness among people” and related discussions, detailed in the book’s introduction.

This work is one of the entries of the Quran and Hadith Encyclopedia and has been published separately to meet the needs of its audience.

Accordingly, the study is organized into two sections:

  • Section One: God’s forgiveness of His servants

  • Section Two: People’s forgiveness of each other

The book Encyclopedia of Forgiveness and Pardoning is authored by Ayatollah Mohammadi Reyshahri and Hojjat al-Islam Mahmoud Kariman, translated into Persian by Hojjat al-Islam Morteza Khosh Nasib, written in 313 pages in quarto size, and published in 1403 (Persian calendar) in collaboration with Dar al-Hadith Publications.
