Extension of Deadline for Submitting Papers to the International Conference “The Intellectual Heritage of the Thinkers of Karbala in the Twelfth Century AH” in Iraq
Organized by the Research Institute of Quran and Hadith in cooperation with the Islamic Theology Association, Farabi College of the University of Tehran, and Karbala Heritage Center affiliated with the Department of Islamic and Human Intellectual Affairs of the Holy Abbasid Shrine in Iraq
According to the Public Relations Office of the Research Institute of Quran and Hadith:
The Research Institute of Quran and Hadith, in cooperation with Karbala Heritage Center (affiliated with the Department of Islamic and Human Intellectual Affairs of the Holy Abbasid Shrine), the Islamic Theology Association, and Farabi College, will hold the international conference entitled: “The Intellectual Heritage of the Thinkers of Karbala in the Twelfth Century AH” in the year 1447 AH in Iraq.
Conference Themes:
- Theology (Kalām), Philosophy, and Logic
- Qurʾān and Exegesis (Tafsīr)
- Hadith and Narrators’ Criticism (ʿIlm al-Rijāl)
- Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Principles of Jurisprudence (Uṣūl al-Fiqh)
- History and Biography (Sīra)
- Biography and Commemoration
- Manuscripts
All scholars, researchers, and writers are cordially invited to participate and submit their peer-reviewed academic papers.
Upon acceptance of the paper, the author will attend the conference, and all travel, accommodation, and hospitality expenses will be fully covered by the Holy Abbasid Shrine. (If the paper has multiple authors, financial support will cover only one author.)
There is no limit on the number of accepted papers or participants in the conference.
All outstanding papers will be published in peer-reviewed academic journals of the two countries (Iran and Iraq).
